The 'McMansion' house made famous by TV's 'The OC' is up for sale
The 'McMansion' house made famous by TV's 'The OC' is up for sale and you can buy it for US$6.25 million.
The Cohen family's McMansion was at the heart of all our favourite moments in TV's The OC. It housed many parties, at least four Chrismakkuhs, one heart attack and plenty of toasted bagels.
It was damaged by an earthquake in the series finale and the Cohens packed up and moved to Berkley. However, in real life, the house still stands and is up for sale with an asking price of US$6.25 million.
It might look like the Cohen home from the outside, but that’s where the similarities end. The actual house is located in Malibu as opposed to Newport Beach, and though it does have a pool in the back, it’s not an infinity pool. Also, there’s no pool house.
Real estate website Trulia reports that the 6,376-sq. foot Italian villa features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, sits on four acres of state park lands, and has a chef’s kitchen with “top of the line appliances” and views of the Pacific Ocean.
