Take Me Out switching it up with one woman and 30 men for first time in a decade
Take Me Out is shaking things up this week for its tenth anniversary.
The ITV dating show, which sees thirty women vie for a date with just one guy (or not - it's totally up to them), is reversing the gender balance for the first time in the history of the show.
The balance of power has always been in the women's favour as a solitary guy attempted to win them over with a party piece and some VTs on his hobbies and quirks.
The women could opt to switch off their light at any point, removing themselves from the game, or leave their light on to the bitter end, at which point the guy got to choose between the last two women standing for a date to the Isle of Fernandos.
Sometimes, however, all the girls would switch off their lights, leaving the guy to exit stage left, alone, with his tail between his legs.
Now one lucky lady is opening herself up to the same sorry fate on the show as producers are bringing back "30 of Paddy's favourite boys" for the special episode on Saturday.
The new series will also see Paddy McGuinness catching up with couples who met on the show and there will be a special episode dedicated to ladies over 50 who are looking for love.
