Strictly Come Dancing announce celeb guests for Christmas Day special as Bruce Forsyth set to return
The line-up of celebrity guests for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special airing on Christmas Day has been announced.
As you fester on the sofa post-dinner, six familiar faces from Strictly gone by will perform for your viewing pleasure including Abbey Clancy, Harry Judd, Lisa Snowdon, Tom Chambers, Alison Hammond, and Royal Marine medic Cassidy Little.
Model and TV presenter Abbey will be partnering Brendan Cole for the special. She won the coveted glitterball back in 2013 with her partner Aljaž Skorjanec.
McFly's Harry Judd was champion two years prior to that with Aliona Vilani (she's currently partnering another boyband member, The Wanted's Jay McGuinness) but he'll join Jo Clifton on the dance floor for the festive show.
Actor Tom Chambers won in 2008 with Camilla Dallerup and will be hoping to create some of the magic for the Christmas show with South African Oti Mabuse, who made her debut this year with boxer Anthony Ogogo.
Lisa Snowdon came third when Tom won, despite earning 40 for both her Foxtrot and Cha Cha in the final. She'll be teaming up with Pasha Kovalev for Christmas.
Former Royal Marine medic Cassidy Little stole the nation’s hearts when he became the first People’s Strictly Champion for Comic Relief this year. He’ll be reunited with his partner from the People’s Strictly, Natalie Lowe.
Actress and TV presenter Alison Hammond will also be taking to the floor. She competed last year with Aljaž and for the Christmas special she'll be partnered with Robin Windsor.
The duos will perform to routines built around a host of family favourites including Alice in Wonderland, Jack Frost, and Scrooge. The winner will be the Silver Star trophy.
Sir Bruce Forsyth will return to present the show with Tess Daly and the judging panel of Darcey Bussel, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood will also be on hand to pick the winner.
