Strictly Come Dancing 2014 results: Judy Murray finally sent home after dance-off with Sunetra

After weeks of admitting she is the worst dancer on the show, Judy Murray has finally been voted off Strictly Come Dancing.

The professional tennis coach found herself in the bottom two alongside Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker after the judges’ scores were combined with the viewers’ votes to decide who should face the dance-off.

In a bid to stay in the competition, Judy and Anton Du Beke performed their Viennese Waltz again and Suentra and partner Brendan Cole danced their Samba at Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.

Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli all chose to save Sunetra, while head judge Len Goodman also agreed he would have saved the same couple.

Judy said she still knew she was “not very good”, but thanked Anton for his sense of humour.

“He is great fun to be around and has made my Strictly experience very, very special,” she said.

Anton added the tennis coach’s enthusiasm had made the whole experience “enormous fun” for him.

Zoe Balls stood in for Claudia Winkleman for the third consecutive week this weekend after the presenter’s daughter was hospitalised following her Halloween costume setting alight.

Ball was forced to apologise on behalf of Len Goodman yesterday, who appeared to mutter the f-word in astonishment after Simon Webbe’s performance.

“Winner, winner, chicken dinner, finger-licking good,” the head judge told the Blue singer after his performance.

“I tell you, Simon, I think it’s his place actually Tess. It’s something about the atmosphere, the audience are behind everyone…the home of dance,” he said, before appearing to mutter “f*ck” under his breath in disbelief.
