RTE’s Northern Correspondent Brendan Wright retires today after 32 years
RTE’s Northern Correspondent Brendan Wright is set to retire.
Wright, who has worked at RTE for 32 years, will file his final report today.
Vincent Kearney, who has worked as BBC Northern Ireland’s Home Affairs Correspondent, is now stepping into the role.
RTE’s Managing Director of News and Current Affairs wished Mr Wright a happy retirement on Twitter.
He wrote: “Happy retirement to the great Brendan Wright [who] files his final report today after 32 years. Go n-éiri an bothar leat Brendan."
