The second of five new dramas has arrived on the RTE Player.
Farr is set in Belfast and centres on Michael Gallagher, an ambitious young detective who has been promoted to a task force aimed at taking down the city's most dangerous crime family, the Farrs.
As his investigation deepens, a murder of one of the Farrs pushes Michael towards a reckoning with his own dark past, and as the bodies and betrayals mount, Michael must choose between destroying the Farrs or saving himself.
The four part series was produced by the Belfast-based production company Stirling Film and TV Productions and was written and directed by Aidan Largey and stars Michael Gallagher.
Farr is one of five new original dramas, commissioned by RTÉ and the Irish Film Board for the new season of Storyland, a commissioning platform to identify new and emerging creative talent in Ireland.
The five new Storyland dramas to be shown nationally and internationally on the Storyland hub on RTÉ Player www.rte.ie/storyland. The first, Burning Wishes, launched last Monday.
