Rory Cowan will talk Mrs Brown's Boys departure on Saturday Night with Miriam

Less than a week after calling it quits with Mrs Brown's Boys, Rory Cowan will join Miriam O'Callaghan for Saturday Night with Miriam.

Cowan will reveal why he decided to leave the award-winning show after 26 years.

Also joining Miriam will be hotelier Francis Brennan along with Fr Richard Geoghegan, Brian Whitney and Laura Hayes who feature in his new travel show.  They will discuss their trip to Vietnam.

Jerry Fish featuring MayKay will also perform on the show.  The singer has released a new version of the song Blue in honour of his bandmate and friend Martin Murphy who die din January.

It is the second episode of the series which kicked off on July 8 with an interview with Caprice, home-grown star Brendan Courtney, and people who have bravely battled cancer.

Saturday Night with Miriam airs on RTE One at 9.45pm.
