Revealed: Here's what Ryan Tubridy was paid last year
Figure from Tubridy's media firm Tuttle Productions
RTE's top-paid star, Ryan Tubridy, received €485,350 from his media firm last year.
Accounts lodged by Tubridy's Tuttle Productions Ltd show The Late Late Show presenter shared directors' pay of €485,350 with his mother, Catherine, over the 16-month period to the end of December.
His remuneration, which was made up of €473,138 in pay and €12,212 in pension payments, is substantially down on the €598,717 paid over by the firm during the 12-month period to the end of August 2015.
The firm is 100pc-owned by Tubridy.
The latest figures from RTE show that Tubridy was the best-paid broadcaster at the station in 2014, when he received fees totalling €495,000. Tubridy received the same pay in 2013.
This was down significantly on the €752,950 received by Tubridy in 2012.
However, Tubridy - who turned 44 last weekend - remains by far the highest-paid RTE star, with Joe Duffy the only other broadcaster to receive over €400,000 at €416,893.
The figures from Tuttle Productions Ltd would also include Tubridy's earnings from the BBC, where he has occasionally presented a show on BBC Radio 2.
