Reality TV hit 'Say Yes to the Dress' getting an Irish makeover on RTE and they're looking for brides
Say Yes to the Dress is coming to Ireland courtesy of Shinawil and RTE.
TLC's hugely successful reality series, which follows the trials and tribulations of brides choosing their wedding gowns, will get an Irish makeover and ten episodes will air on RTE2 in early 2018.
The series will be filmed in a new Irish bridal store stocked with dresses from all over the world and cameras will follow brides as they try on styles, colours and patterns for their friends and families.
The American series sees brides at Kleinfeld's Manhattan based store and is part bridal story, part fashion makeover, and part family therapy session.
Over 250 episodes over 15 seasons have aired in the US and there are currently spin offs based in Canada, the UK, Atlanta, and Australia.
RTE is on the hunt for brides-to-be who are searching for their perfect dress whatever their size, style preference, or budget.
It has not been revealed who will fill the role of Randy Fenoli, Kleinfeld's resident designer and advisors.
