Ratings plummet for second episode of Caitlyn Jenner reality show 'I Am Cait'
Caitlyn Jenner's reality show lost half its audience on its second episode in the US.
'I Am Cait' premiered last Sunday on E! with 2.7m viewers (3.9m when playback is taken into account), but this week's instalment drew just 1.3m.
The network had likely expected much higher ratings for the premiere given the massive interest in recent months in Caitlyn's journey through her transition.
This 10th season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which features former wife Kris, daughters Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendall and son Rob, pulled in 2.5m viewers.
Much of that audience would have been expected to join the audience for I Am Cait which charts Caitlyn's first few months living as a woman.
The emotional first episode covered Caitlyn's debut and her first meeting with daughters Kim and Kylie as well as her first encounter with her mother and sisters.
