At a time like this when you're snowed in and TV is one of the only things to keep you sane, it's a bit disconcerting to find several TV channels and radio stations missing from your schedule.

Some Sky customers have, in recent weeks, found the Irish TV channels, RTE One, RTE 2, TV3, TG4 and their HD and Plus Ones have disappeared from their TV guides.

Some have also reported experiencing disappearing Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels and missed recordings while the channels are not available.

The good news is, it's easy to rectify with a reboot of your Sky box, but it's an ongoing issue which has yet to be fully resolved.

"Sky is aware of a technical issue where a small amount of its customers are encountering missing channels in their Sky STBs," Sky said in a statement to

"Affected customers are being advised that a reboot of the box should provide a temporary solution. Investigations are ongoing to determine the root cause and implement a fix.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to affected customers and will update on progress as soon as possible."

So don't panic, reboot and you can watch Liveline's Storm Emma coverage live on RTE One right now.  Or check this out on Sky On Demand now: Save Me TV review: 'A blast of originality in a tired UK schedule dominated by largely mediocre thrillers'
