Pippa's TV career on hold as US network deal 'stalls'
Talks have "stalled" between Pippa Middleton and a major American broadcaster over her recruitment as a highly-paid correspondent, according to new reports.
The NBC network had attempted to woo the sister of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge over to the US as a roving special correspondent in a deal which was rumoured to carry a salary of more than €500,000.
But a series of pilot segments shot in Wyoming for the popular Today morning show four months ago, one of which featured Miss Middleton in Wild West regalia dancing with locals, have still not been aired.
Negotiations between Miss Middleton and the network are reportedly now on hold, with indications that the lucrative job is not going ahead, for now at least.
Network sources said the test segments filmed in Jackson Hole "didn't convince" Today's producers to sign her up. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
