Philip Schofield and Stephanie Davis clash over Jeremy McConnell interview on This Morning
Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis and presenter Philip Schofield locked horns on This Morning over a previous interview with her boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
Davis (23) told Schofield she felt his comments during the interview with McConnell (27) in February, when they were not together, were "out of order" and that he was "biased".
She had met and dated Irish reality star McConnell on Celebrity Big Brother but despite splitting soon after the show, Stephanie became pregnant and is now mum to their son Caben.
At the time McConnell requested a DNA test to prove he was the father.
During the This Morning interview he revealed that Stephanie had demanded he sign an "unreasonable" contract drawn up by her legal team before the DNA test.
Schofield revealed he had seen the contract and although he wouldn't disclose the contents on TV he said it was not "fair".
During Monday's interview she said, "I thought you were a bit biased with what happened in that interview."
Holly Willoughby was also present for the interview and Stephanie said, "There was a certain element that you know what it's like to be a mum and I didn't feel there was anyone sticking up for me."
She continued, "It was out of order. I'd just had a newborn baby. I had the worst pregnancy in the world and my son was in the special care unit."
Schofeld commented that she had a "sensible" team behind her and Stephanie conceded that she didn't actually read over the contract herself, but was extremely "angry".
She added, "Now I understand he wanted to be a great father to Caben but for me I wanted to keep Caben out of that. I knew Jeremy was the father and didn't want Caben growing up thinking his dad didn't think he was his, and for the whole public to know."
However, Jeremy's interview prompted a conversation between them which resolved the situation.
They are now back together.
