It airs on BBC Two tonight but the channel has released a Peaky Blinders trailer just to whet your appetite for episode 2.

As if your appetite needed whetting!

It's only 20 seconds but it reveals a lot - namely that series favourite Tom Hardy will make a return as Alfie Solomons.

Also making his highly-anticipated debut will be Paddy Considine as Father Hughes, "the most evil character that Peaky Blinders has ever seen", according to creator Steven Knight.

"What business do you have with the Russians Tommy?" asks his sister Ada.

Tommy (Cillian Murphy) later reveals there's going to be a robbery, "the biggest robbery of all" while Father Hughes cautions him, "any deviations will have consequences."

Peakly Blinders season 3 episode 2 will air tonight Thursday at 9pm on BBC Two.
