Not once but twice - Philip Schofield takes Katie Price to task over repeating N-word live on air on This Morning
Philip Schofield had his work cut out for him on This Morning on Wednesday as Katie Price said the N-word twice live on air.
Viewers were shocked as the Loose Women panelist used the word when she spoke about her son Harvey who has been taunted by bullies online for a variety of reasons.
Katie revealed that several people have been arrested for their online abuse of her son, but said they had been let go without charges.
Quoting some of the abuse he has received she said, "Someone called him a black, blind n*****. Is that not strong enough to get arrested?"
Although presenters Schofield and Holly Willoughby agreed with Katie, they said, "Yes, it's deeply offensive and people will be offended by the fact it's been said today."
However, it wasn't enough to deter Katie, who later continued, "Calling my son a n***** isn't acceptable."
Schofield replied, "You don't need to say it again."
He later apologised to viewers for her language.
They were, however, shocked:
Katie Price does not need to use that language, we understand her anger but she doesn't have to push the boundaries! #ThisMorning— Craig Macdonald (@CraigMacd1988) April 26, 2017
Katie Price pushing the boundaries on #ThisMorning. The 'N' word and 'having the balls'. Did not know that was allowed at this time of day— Blair Condie (@bcondie92) April 26, 2017
There's Katie Price unsensored on tv, again! Good thing the kids are back to school this week then and don't hear the language! #ThisMorning— Kat (@xoSweetKxo) April 26, 2017
