Comedians Jack Dee, Nick Helm, Patrick Kielty, Vic Reeves and Johnny Vegas are preparing to give Harry Styles and co a serious run for their money this Red Nose Day.

One Direction made a surprise Twitter announcement on Wednesday to unveil the performers set to impersonate them in the 'No Direction' tribute band for Comic Relief - Face the Funny on Friday night.

Jack Dee will play Louis Tomlinson, Nick Helm will become Zayn Malik, Patrick Kielty will channel Niall Horan, Vic Reeves will take on Harry Styles and Johnny Vegas will transform into Liam Payne.

"I'm most looking forward to expressing myself through the medium of dance and music, and seeing the audience in a state of absolute astonishment at what we do," said Dee.

This Friday, No Direction will perform their live rendition of "Best Song Ever" from the London Palladium in a bid to secure donations for Comic Relief.

Expect original sketches and stand up comedy from Red Nose Day's evening of entertainment, with a stellar line up of TV stars including John Bishop, Russell Brand and Davina McCall.

Comic Relief - Face the Funny airs on 13 March at 7pm on BBC1.
