Places on the entertainment show will be open to members of the public who purchase a Million Euro Challenge scratchcard, while also being in with the chance of winning up to €50,000.

The family friendly show will involve three players, each joined in-studio by a family member or friend as they go head-to-head for the coveted cash prize.

Each of the players will play newly created Lottery games such as ‘Crack the Code’ and ‘Risky Business’, with one lucky player potentially walking away with the €1,000,000 jackpot.

RTE 2FM presenter Nicky Byrne said he was “thrilled” with his new gig:

“I’m really excited about the show airing in the New Year,” he stated. “I’ve been working with The Million Euro Challenge team learning all about the new games and I think the format of the show is brilliant.

The enthusiastic dad of three added that he loves “the buzz” of working on TV.
