Netflix announces premiere dates for 'Orange is the New Black', 'Wet Hot American Summer', 'Sense8' and more

Orange is the New Black fans will be thrilled to know the third series of the hit comedy drama has been given a premiere date of June 12.

Netflix has also announced release dates for its upcoming slate of original TV series with Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp arriving a month later on July 17.

The eight episode mini-series will reunite the entire cast from the original movie, including Elizabeth Banks, Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Christopher Meloni, Amy Poheler, and Paul Rudd.

Netflix original series Between will land in May.  It will star Jennette McCurdy as Wiley Day, a pregnant teenage daughter of a minister living in the small town of Pretty Lake, which is coping with a mysterious disease which has killed everybody over the age of 21.

Another sci-fi drama series, Sense8, will arrive on June 5. It comes courtesy of the Wachowskis who brought us The Matrix Trilogy and the recent resounding flop, Jupiter Ascending.  The series revolves around a group of eight people whose minds become interconnected following a tragic death.

Also, original stand-up comedy specials will premiere from next month, including Chris D'Elia: Incorrigible which lands April 17, Jen Kirman: I'm Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine) on May 22, and What Happened Miss Simone on June 26.
