Mrs Brown to get frisky under the mistletoe as she gets new lover in Christmas special
SHE’S been celibate for years – but it looks like Mrs Brown could be getting a new fancy man under the Christmas tree.
The show’s creator Brendan O’Carroll revealed the plans as the show kicks off rehearsals for its Christmas special this week in Scotland.
“We are just recording them over the next two weeks. There are two again this year, and the audience can expect the usual Brown family stuff – except this year Agnes may have a lover”, he told the Sun.
Keeping fans guessing, Brendan won’t reveal whether Mr Brown’s lover will be a man or a woman.
One thing looks certain however – Granddad won’t like the new arrival.
He has become very protective of Agnes, and won’t like anyone taking the place of his dead son Redser.
Last year’s Christmas special was viewed by over one million people here and over 15m in the UK, making it the most watched show of the festive period.
The live show also returns to Dublin’s 3 Arena for a run just before Christmas.
The show will run from December 15th through to the 19th.
