Britain's Got Talent will hold auditions across Ireland for the next series.

Auditions kick off in Dublin on November 12 before heading to Galway on November 16, Limerick on November 18, and Cork on November 19, Kilkenney November 22, and finally Waterford on November 25.

Auditions will take place in Norther Ireland too, in Derry on November 10, Omagh on November 12, Newry on November 14, Ballymena on November 7 and Belfast on November 17.

“Britain’s Got Talent 2017 was a fantastic year for talent full of variety - from runner-up Issy Simpson, one of the youngest magicians ever to audition, to the moving and inspiring Missing People Choir, lovable duo The Pensionalities and our incredible winner Tokio Myers." said series producer Charlie Irwin.

“Now, we can’t wait to see what talent your town has to offer for the 2018 series. Anyone can apply - there is no age limit and we are looking for all kinds of talents.

“So if you feel you have something special to show us, no matter what it is, then make sure you apply, you never know where it might take you.”

Applications for Ireland's Got Talent, hosted by Lucy Kennedy, have now closed. However, those acts who have been chosen to audition will be filmed in the coming weeks.

Louis Walsh will lead the judges on the Irish show, with comedian Jason Byrne, Michelle Visage and Denise Van Outen while the British panel includes Simon Cowell, Alicia Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.

Irish acts have regularly appeared on the British show including Lords of Strut, Irish dancer Davdi Geaney, singer Leah Barniville, St PAtricks' Junior Choir and balloon artist Ryan Tracey just last year.
