Hollywood megastars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell will lead the line-up on Friday’s Late Late Show.

The Daddy’s Home stars will chat to Ryan Tubridy about their adventures in Ireland this week when they attended the film's Irish premiere.

Wahlberg jokes that two Irish prizewinners who attended the premiere “just wanted to get p***ed” and meet Brad Pitt.

“There were posters of me and Will on the wall and this guy was like: ‘is Brad Pitt coming?’” Wahlberg tells Tubridy.

When he replied that Brad Pitt was definitely not coming, the eager Dad pressed him again, asking: “Are you sure?”

The Ted star said: “They didn’t want to go to the movie, they just wanted to get p***ed! They were like: we can see it when it comes out, we can buy a proper ticket!”

And Will Ferrell does an impression of one of the Dads who was rendered incomprehensible after a few pints.

“The great thing was,” says Wahlberg, “the guy beside him said: ‘I didn’t understand a word he said either’ and he talked to us for probably five minutes! Then he wanted to throw darts while he wasn’t looking!”

The Daddy’s Home co-stars joined Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy to pre-record their interview in front of a live studio audience in RTÉ earlier this week.

The A-listers talked about their Irish roots, Wahlberg’s dinner with Rory McIlroy and having drinks with a “bunch” of Irish Dads - competition winners making the most of a night away from the kids - who were looking for another big star name to join them.
