Kirsty Blake Knox: Seven ways RTÉ and Patrick Kielty can (and should) revamp The Late Late Show

There have been weeks and weeks of speculation about who would step into Ryan’s shoes. Just about everyone in RTÉ — with the possible exception of Bosco — had been touted at one stage or another. RTÉ finally announced that Patrick Kielty will be taking over. To quote from President Kennedy — one of Ryan’s all-time heroes — it was time for a new generation to step forward. Except, of course, Patrick Kielty is actually older than Tubridy.
