The cast of Daddy's Home 2 don't hold back when they feature on Gogglebox Ireland: Celebrity Special next week.

Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, John Lithgow, and Will Ferrell are subjected to an episode of Fair City and an unidentified Irish reality TV show.

RTE's Fair City is currently running the love triangle storyline between Mondo, Kerri-Ann, and Melanie and the four Hollywood A-listers are 'gripped' by the drama on the soap they were told was an Irish Days of Our Lives.

One particular Irish telly favourite prompts Wahlberg to ask if it's 1993 while Ferrell says he'd love to take part in an Irish reality show.

The cast are in town to promote Daddy's Home 2 which releases in Ireland next week and as well as walking the red carpet at The Odeon for the premiere, they all appeared on last night's Late Late Show.

With the issue of harassment in Hollywood exploding in recent weeks they each gave their opinions.

Mark Wahlberg is co-producing Ridley Scott's latest film All the Money in the World.  Scott axed Kevin Spacey from the movie in light of the allegations made against the actor by a variety of accusers and is re-shooting with Christopher Plummer.

"If you think about sexual harassment, it is obviously rampant in Hollywood, it is rampant everywhere," he said.

"In this case we completely support Ridley's decision to reshoot and we want to make sure that we handle it, especially when it comes to the victims, with respect and sensitivity.  That is the most important thing."

Daddy’s Home 2 is released by Paramount Pictures in Irish cinemas nationwide on November 22. Certificate: PG.  Gogglebox Ireland: Celebrity Special airs on TV3 on Wednesday 22nd November at 10pm
