Irish episode of Somebody Feed Phil lands on Netflix next week

Netflix Original series Somebody Feed Phil features an Irish episode and it will be released on the streaming service next week.

The docu-series sees 'Everybody Loves Raymond' creator Phil Rosenthal travel the world to take in the local cuisine.

He has previously visited Bangkok, Saigon, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, New Orleans, and Mexico and the second series, landing July 6, will see him take on Venice, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Capetown, New York and Irelnd.

Among the eateries he visits on his trip are Brother Hubbard's, Gallagher's Boxty House in Temple Bar, Guinness, Murphy's Ice cream, Deasys in Clonakilty, Miyazaki in Cork, and The Happy Pear in Greystones.

He's also treated to a full Irish by the legend that is Darina Allen down in Ballymaloe and he will attempt to forage for seaweed with Sally McKenna.  He filmed last year in Ireland with his parents.
