'I'm sorry I quit dance classes as a kid' - Former Fair City star Clelia Murphy joins Dancing with the Stars
Clelia Murphy is yet another celebrity wishing she hadn't given up dance classes when she was younger, as she is the sixth star to be named in the cast of Dancing With The Stars.
The third series kicks off next month, and the former Fair City star, who played Niamh Brennan, will battle it out for the Glitterball Trophy in the new year.
She said she has embraced a whole new world of sequins since signing up.
"I'm sorry now that I didn't stick with dance classes as a child," she said.
"I'm normally dressed from head to toe in black and I'm finding myself in a glorious rainbow sea of glitter and sequins and Spanx.
"I'm so far out of my comfort zone, but I kind of love it."
The actress will be joining TV presenter Mairead Ronan, stylist Darren Kennedy and Mrs Brown's Boys star Eilish O'Carroll on the show.
Also in the line-up are model Holly Carpenter and comedian Fred Cooke.
"I'm full of passion but I don't have the technique," said Fred.
