'I was offered €20,000 to go on a date with someone,' reveals Vogue Williams
Vogue Williams has revealed she was once offered €20,000 to go on a date with someone.
The tv presenter (31) is due to finish filming on RTE's Getaways in the coming weeks and will then jump back into shooting her documentaries for the state broadcaster, one of which focuses on the concept of sugar-daddies.
"Another one is on sugar daddies. I got offered €20,000 to go on a date with someone, but I didn't do it, obviously. What would you have to do on that date?" she said.
"There's loads of stuff to look into there so I'm really excited for it. Another one is going to be based around mental health, like anxiety and OCD."
She seems most intrigued about an episode focusing on sperm donation as she hopes her sister Amber will be involved.
"It's not 'Vogue Does', it's going to be called something else, but it's in the same vein. I'm really looking forward to it. I've been tweeting about sperm donors," she said.
"My sister is a lesbian so she'll be using a sperm donor. We're investigating that whole thing. She might [go on camera for it]. She's been with her girlfriend for a good while and she really wants to have kids. So many people choose that path."
Vogue was vocal in her support of the marriage equality referendum in 2015 so her sister would have the right to marry her partner one day.
Amber has mostly kept out of the public eye but has attended events with her famous sister in the past, including the VIP Style Awards.
The Howth native, who is dating Pippa Middleton's brother-in-law Spencer Matthews, also revealed that she would have children by herself when she feels she is ready to, regardless of whether or not she is with someone.
"I always said, if I didn't find someone and I felt it was time to have kids, I would probably do it on my own," she told the Herald.
For now, her focus is on finishing Getaways, where Irish rugby star Tommy Bowe recently joined.
"He's great at presenting, I don't need to give him any tips. He's very easy to work with," she said.
Vogue was speaking at the L'Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Final at the O'Reilly Hall in UCD. A highlight of the Irish hairdressing calendar, it is the longest- running live hairdressing competition in the world.
