'He's such a sweet kid' - Dennis Quaid heaps praise on former Love/Hate star Robert Sheehan
Actor Dennis Quaid has heaped praise on his Fortitude co-star, Robert Sheehan.
The Hollywood heavyweight, who's been in the business for over 40 years, stars alongside the Sheehan in the popular Sky Atlantic series, Fortitude.
As the Arctic thriller returned to TV screens with its second season, Quaid opened up about working with the IFTA-winning actor.
"He's such a sweet kid and he can play this balance where you don't know if he is God or the Devil. He's very poetic in just the way he talks normally," Quaid told the RTE Guide.
"I read his part in the script and what he did was nothing like I expected. It was beautiful."
Sheehan plays a mysterious outsider whose appearance in the town of Fortitude kicks off a series of troubling events.
The show stars a huge range of Irish acting talent, including the legendary Michael Gambon, Richard Dormer and Game of Thrones star Michelle Fairley.
Sheehan shot to fame playing Darren in the gritty RTE crime drama Love/Hate as the gangster with a conscience.
He'll next be seen in the film, Bad Samaritan, in which he plays a burglar, alongside former Dr Who star David Tennant.
