HBO Spain has accidentally broadcast the next episode of Game of Thrones four days early.

Episode six was reportedly available to on-demand Spanish subscribers for an hour before it was removed.

However, the episode had already been copied and shared online.

Scenes from episode six of season seven were shared on Reddit from various streaming services before also being removed.

However, the full episode, which is the penultimate of the season, is now available on torrent sites.

It comes at a tough time for HBO as they battle hackers who stole company executives' emails, and scripts for various shows including Game of Thrones.

A script and a script summary leaked for episode four of the current season while the episode appeared online via the Indian distributor.

Game Of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau this week said ratings will not be damaged by leaked episodes as well as spoilers released after the HBO hack.

“There were always going to be people who want to find out more but I think it’s just a tiny, tiny fraction of the people who love the show,” Coster-Waldau told the Press Association in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

“Why would you want to spoil it for yourself?

“We saw it last week, there was an episode leaked, episode four was leaked, that didn’t hurt the ratings at all.”
