Television and movie addicts can now apply for their dream job - as a Tagger for Netflix.

The Internet TV network, which has 48m subscribers worldwide, is looking for someone to fill the role of Tagger in the UK and Ireland.

The role involves pinpointing exactly what each of those 48m members is going to watch next.  Taggers help to personalise the experience of using Netflix for members.

As a Tagger you will be paid to watch films and TV programmes and to analyse them so that Netflix can connect those titles to the people that want to see them the most, whether that's a film in the 'Critically Acclaimed-Emotional-Underdog' category or 'Violent Suspenseful Action & Adventure from the 1980s.'

It's the first time that Netflix will appoint a Tagger outside of the Americas and there are only 40 or so taggers worldwide.

The job requires a wide interest in film and TV of all genres, countries, and styles and the successful applicant will be amongst the first to view Netflix originals like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.

All you need is a "background and/or degree in film & TV a strong knowledge of film and TV as well as an analytical mind" according to Netflix.
