We're still nursing our wounds from the climax of season five but plans for Game of Thrones season 6 are already well underway.

The full list of directors for the upcoming season of the hit HBO have been revealed and include three Thrones regulars and two newbies.

Each director will helm two episodes and here's the rundown, according to EW, of who's doing what:

Episodes 1 & 2:

Jeremy Podeswa has worked on The Tudors and Boardwalk Empire and in season five he directed two episodes, 'Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken' and 'Kill the Boy'.

Episodes 3 & 4:

Daniel Sackheim is a GoT newbie although he's been directing since the 80s when he helmed Miami Vice.  Since then he's worked with Fox on The X-Files, Lie to Me, and House.  Recently he directed six episodes of The Americans for FX.

Episodes 5 & 6:

Jack Bender is another Game of Thrones newcomer, although he was behind 38 episodes of Lost, including several premiers and finales.

Episodes 7 & 8:

Mark Mylod has directed Shameless and Entourage and helmed the third and fourth episodes of season 5 of Game of Thrones, 'High Sparrow' and 'Sons of the Harpy'.

Episoes 9 & 10:

Michel Sapochnik was responsible for bringing Game of Thrones fans the brilliant 'Hardhome' episode last season.  This featured a half-hour epic battle.  He also directed the seventh episode, 'The Gift'.
