Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams gives a definite answer on the fate of Jon Snow
The question of whether or not beloved Game of Thrones' character Jon Snow is really dead has come to dominate chatter about the upcoming sixth season of the hit HBO show.
At the end of season five he was seen apparently breathing his last in a pool of bloody having been stabbed repeatedly by fellow members of the Night Watch.
However, fervent fans refuse to believe he's really dead, and their hopes have been raised by reports of the actor on the Belfast set during filming for the sixth season.
Those hopes may be dashed following an interview fellow Thrones star Maisie Williams gave to Absolute Radio on Friday morning.
"People are constantly asking me [if Jon Snow is alive] and the answer is no. I'm very sorry," she said.
She would say that though, wouldn't she?
Although she was pretty insistent, "Yeah, he's dead. I'm not a liar. I'm very sorry. I would know of all people after all. I'm the one who has the script here!"
She explained that the actors get the entire script at the beginning of each series so they can read ahead and see what happens to fellow characters.
