Game of Thrones fans 'aren't going to be happy' about mid-season plot shock - Alfie Allen
Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen has revealed that fans of the fantasy series "aren't going to be happy" about a big plot shock mid way through the new season.
Speaking to Zap2It.com he said, "There's something that happens about halfway through this season that is really going to make huge waves.
“And people aren't going to be happy about it. It's hard to watch.”
He added, "I bear witness to this thing, and it's crazy, sort of having to portray how messed up everyone's situation is through my own reactions to what happens,” he added.
“Get ready for it."
Alfie's comments seem to support those made previous by fellow Thrones star Liam Cunningham, who told the Herald that there will be one scene even more shocking than the Red Wedding.
"I would think so, yes. It's towards the end of the season, and when I got the scripts, when I got to this particular section, I went: 'You've gotta be kidding me'," he told the Herald.
Allen also revealed that Ramsay Bolton (played by Iwan Rheon) may well be the new Joffrey in terms of being evil.
"I would go so far as to say maybe Ramsay Bolton is the new Joffrey in town, and then probably me followed closely after that," he said.
And it seems a new character will be joining the GoT world - one that Ramsay particularly enjoys tormenting.
"There's this one character who crosses both of our paths, and [Ramsay] certainly enjoys tormenting this character=," he said.
"It can be tough to watch for some people, without a doubt."
