Former TMZ star Peter O'Riordan is new Xpose presenter
Former TMZ presenter Peter O'Riordan has just been announced as the new presenter of Xpose.
The 30-year old broadcaster will join presenting foursome Lisa Canon, Glenda Gilson, Karen Koster, and Aisling O'Loughlin in the new season when the show will be filmed live in the new HD studio.
Peter graduated with a degree in politics from UCC seven years ago before heading to LA where he landed a job with celebrity news organisation TMZ in LA.
The star hit the headlines here earlier this year during Beyonce and Jay Z's visit to Ireland when he appeared on showbiz channel TMZ and said that the superstars were left alone because Irish people probably didn't know who they were.
The Cork native defended himself after a barrage of abuse on Twitter, writing, "Just for the record anyone in Ireland that wants to come at me, watch the video and educate urself first!
"Know this I don't have creative control or editin power with tmz so I can be made out that I'm sayin something I'm not. Notice the cam didn't come back onto me to have the opportunity to defend. I'm the proudest Irish person on the map and there are plenty of people that will back me up on that. I do t edit the tv show , nor can I speak for any of my co workers or my boss. Slan go foil."
Also this season on TV3, Keith Barry will return with another series of mind bending series 'Brain Hacker'. Barry is heading over to the UK next week to film new ITV series 'You're Back in The Room' with Philip Schofield.
Lucy Kennedy will front a new dating series. "I want to become Ireland's answer to Cilla," she said.
Brian Dowling will present Saturday night quiz show 'Sitting on a Fortune'. "I love doing it because I can be myself and have fun," he said. "I think everyone will be tuning in."
'The Algorithm' will be fronted by 98FM host Ray Foley. "It's very different from 'Take Me Out' that's for sure," he laughed.
