Reality shows are proving to be fertile ground for stars hoping to land a second chance.

Former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm has just won The Voice and now a former Coronation Street actress is hoping to impress with her vocals on Britain's Got Talent.

Rachel Wooding first appeared in Corrie as a beautificn aback in 2008 and soap fans may also recall she played the role of Izzy Armstrong's best friend Mandy who bedded Kirk.

However, Rachel (37) is also a West End performer who has had roles in Footloose, Starlight Express, Evita and more.

She took time out from her career to have her daughter Amelia in 2014 and is hoping BGT is her ticket to a second chance.

Taking to the stage tonight she sings "With You" from the musical Ghost and Simon Cowell, the panel, and audience are massively impressed.

Cowell says, "This was the most beautiful version of that song I've ever heard."

Check out her performance tonight on Britain's Got Talent, TV3, 8pm.
