Embarrassing Bodies presenter Dr Christian Jessen is meeting with Channel 4 bosses this week following an online chat about drug use he had with a guy on Grindr.

The Mirror reports that Dr Christian discussed the effects of cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine with a man on the gay dating app on Sunday and offered him drugs, claiming he had class B drug Mephedrone, GHB, and cannabis.

The TV host said he had "been stupid" but that it was "just horny talk" and added that no drug use or meeting ever took place.

“On these chat sites there is a lot of time wasting and chat and silliness that never leads anywhere," he told The Mirror.

"My partner and I will do it on a bored evening and have conversations with no intention of meeting up. It is a bit embarrassing now thinking about it, but you quite often chat to random people.

“It is more an ego thing than anything else, could I get them or not. There is always talk of drugs, in London it is such a problem."

He added, “I've been stupid but absolutely nothing happened. There was no meeting and no drugs were taken. That is the key point. It was just horny talk really.”

Dr Christian, who is a practicing GP as well as hosting the popular Channel 4 show, said he will meet with Channel 4 bosses this week to discuss the comments he made on the app.

He also revealed that he has used drugs in the past but is not currently using although he does campaign for the decriminalisation of drugs in the UK.
