The latest episode of Vogue Williams - On the Edge, Trolled, Sextorted and Hours From Death, 'turned stomachs' on Tuesday night.

The episode investigated the impact of online bullying, grooming and catfishing on young women and girls.

Vogue met with several women who had been victim of catfishing and grooming, one of them being YouTube star Chrissy Chambers.

Seven years ago, Chrissy's ex-boyfriend posted videos of him having sex with her while she was unconscious to 37 different porn sites. She is now the first person to take civil action against an ex for sharing revenge porn.

Vogue also met with Alicia Kozakiewicz, who was kidnapped from her home in 2002 aged 13 and raped and tortured by a man she met in a chat room.

Viewers were "shocked" and "disturbed" by the experiences of the women Vogue interviewed, as well as the lack of legal power available to them.

"Terrifying and necessary viewing this week. Programmes like this are so important. Really wish more parents were aware," wrote one viewer on Twitter.

"Very hard hitting episode tonight. It's so important that this topic is being highlighted. We live in a cruel world," wrote another.

"Watching On The Edge is actually turning my stomach."

"Well done for highlighting these important and shocking issues. What an eye opener this show is."
