'Dancing with Stars' to turn '50 Shades Darker' this week
RTÉ's 'Dancing with the Stars' will be turning 50 Shades Darker this Sunday with a special love-themed programme ahead of Valentine's Day.
The eight remaining celebrities will be pulling out all the stops in a bid to survive another elimination as they perform to some of the best-known love songs.
Trying to retain his place as the nation's favourite dad-dancer will be RTÉ's Des Cahill, who'll be performing the cha-cha-cha with partner Karen Byrne to the tune of Elton John's 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'.
Actress Denise McCormack will be dancing to 'Anything Goes' by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett while comedian Des Bishop will be attempting a Paso Doble to U2's hit 'When Love Comes to Town'.
Showing them all how it's done will be the professional dancers as the super-fit troupe perform to the new '50 Shades' soundtrack 'I Don't Want to Live Forever' by Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift.
Meanwhile, star gazers will be keeping an eye out for top model Thalia Heffernan to see whether she makes a re-appearance backstage.
She was at the Bray studios last Sunday to cheer on her other half Ryan McShane as he performed with Denise.
Yesterday the Lurgan-born dancer posted a sweet message to Thalia, wishing her a happy 22nd birthday and sharing a picture of the pair looking intimate.
