'Clueless' groom who organised 's**t' wedding on plane for Don't Tell the Bride is slammed
Last night’s Don't Tell the Bride on Sky One caused quite a stir.
Some viewers claimed Adam (33) and Bianca’s (22) wedding was the “worst wedding ever”.
Bianca, who is seven months pregnant, labelled the wedding "proper s***" as she was left in tears when the groom bought her a cheap wedding dress online.
Before the wedding Adam sent his best man Alec to visit Bianca. Her task was to choose one of two envelopes - one was her ticket to an expensive wedding dress, while the other held the key to a cheap one.
Bianca just couldn't hide her devastation when she chose the cheap one.
"My idea I think is quite clever because it sort of gives me a get-out-clause because ultimately if the day doesn't work out then it's Bianca's fault," Adam said.
"If she doesn't like it it's her own fault."
Bianca's mother labels the dress a "cheap bit of tat".
Adam's low budget for the dress meant he could still spend £5,000 on the wedding ceremony.
Bianca told her groom: "Babe it's awful. It's proper like s***. The suit is tacky, the dress is tacky, the flowers are tacky. At least you kept a link and it all ties in. I don't hate it it's just like shocking."
The groom also disappointed his bride by organising the ceremony on board a plane from Bristol Airport and a tacky beach-themed reception. Viewers were not impressed:
How unbelievably clueless do the grooms need to be to appear on Don't Tell The Bride?! What was the point of the plane?— Gemma Kidd (@GemmaLou53) July 21, 2016
Watching don't tell the bride and the bloke just spent the same amount of money on Neon plastic buckets as he did on the wedding dress— James (@JamesFleming10) July 21, 2016

Spending 14x the cost of the wedding dress on filling a warehouse with sand for a full moon party reception sums Don't Tell The Bride up tbh— Helen McCarthy (@HelenLMc) July 21, 2016
