The starry (mostly) line-up for this year's Celebrity MasterChef has been revealed and features soap, reality TV, music and sports stars.

Among the contenders for this year's title are Big Brother presenter Rylan Clarke, Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, singer Mica Paris, and 80s one-hit-wonder Chesney Hawkes.

Also picking up the pans are Strictly Come Dancing star Natalie Lowe and the show's former judge Arlene Phillips.

And actress Amanda Donohoe, Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and comic Syd Little will aslo be vying for the coveted title.

Also featured are actors Scott Maslen, Sheree Murphy, Tish Potter, Craig Gazey, and Tom Parker from The Wanted along with TV presenters Sam Nixon; Andy Akinwolere, Yvette Fielding, journalist Samira Ahmed and paralympian Danny Crates.

"This year's intake of celebrities are amongst the most skilled to brave the MasterChef challenge.," said executive producer Carla-Maria Lawson, "Their culinary journey makes for a thoroughly entertaining and thrilling ride."

As usual, John Torode and Gregg Wallace will guide them through the process of 12 episodes as they cook against each other, in a restaurant, for foodie judges, and face the dreaded invention test.
