Baz Ashmawy 'more focused on family' as he gears up to film final series of 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy
Presenter Baz Ashmawy is gearing up to hit the road again when he heads off next month to film the third and final series of 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy.
But Emmy-winning Baz has said his children still get upset whenever he has to leave for a long stint away from home.
The 40-year-old has daughter Hannah (5) and son Mahy (3), with fiancee Tanya Evans, who also has four other children from a previous relationship.
"I am a lot more focused on family time because it can be really hard to juggle that if you are away a lot," Baz told the Diary.
"I was putting a friend's case in the car who had stayed with us recently and my little girl just lost it. She thought it was my case and that I was heading off. They are very aware that when you go off on those journeys, you are not back for a long time," he said.
Baz joked that his children were "ruining my life".
"I haven't drank in six months or so. I have kids so that is taking priority over going to the pub," he said.
The popular presenter and his mum Nancy are a big success overseas after winning an International Emmy for Sky series 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy.
However, Baz has insisted that the third series will be its last - as he doesn't "want to hammer it to death". He also revealed that some big changes were also in store for the show.
