Aengus Mac Grianna has 'Anchorman moment' as he starts reading somebody else's lines
He is one of the country's favourite newscasters and when it comes to blunders nobody does it quite like Aengus Mac Grianna.
Four years ago the RTE broadcaster became an international hit when he was caught on the hop applying powder and fixing his tie when he was supposed to be reading the news.
And a compilation of his favourite bloopers has been viewed over half a million times on Youtube.
On this evening's Six One the popular anchor was supposed to pass over to sports presenter Eamon Horan.
However, he started reading Horan's lines instead.
Seconds later he realised his mistake: "Well actually that's sport, that's your job Eamon."

The pair then burst into laughter in the RTÉ studio. The incident was reminiscent of a scene in cult Hollywood movie Anchorman where the main character is caught out reading exactly what appears on the teleprompter.
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to remark on another classic blooper from the presenter.
