More than 1.7 million people tuned in to this year's Rose of Tralee, while 72,000 people flocked to watch online.
Viewing figures peaked on Tuesday night, with 760,000 fans turning to RTÉ at the same time to watch Meath Rose Elysha Brennan being crowned the 57th winner.
And figures show that 42pc of all Irish viewers tuned in at some point over its two-night run - a total of 1,715,100 people, making it one of the highest-rating programmes of the year for the state broadcaster.
The second night ranked ninth in the top 10 programmes for the year across all channels.
