Conor McGregor has recorded a message for his fans ahead of his coach John Kavanagh’s appearance on tonight’s Late Late Show.

The MMA fighter paid tribute to his coach, and thanked his fans for sticking with him “through thick and thin”.

“It’s great to see coach Kavanagh get the recognition that he finally deserves. What an amazing coach he is,” he said in the message which was posted on Twitter.

“I wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in without coach Kavanagh’s guidance throughout the years.”

“To everyone back in Ireland, your support is much appreciated. Everyone that stuck by me through thick and thin, through everything. Everyone that had my back and prayed for me to succeed. I want to thank you and let you know that it’s that motivation that continues to push me on to work harder each day and stay focused on this crazy journey that I’m on.”

Kavanagh will appear on tonight’s Late Late Show, along with Olympic 400-metre hurdler Thomas Barr, RTE sports presenter Marty Morrissey, model Alison Canavan, comedian Mario Rosenstock and The Young Offenders.
