Her report on last night's RTE's 6pm news bulletin went viral.

Regional reporter Teresa Mannion was battered as she reported live from Salthill in Co Galway last night as Storm Desmond raged around her.

Teresa urged viewers not to make any unnecessary journeys, and urged people to stay away from the sea, referring to how people were seen jumping into the sea in Salthill as the storm raged.

Viewers noted she was soaked to the skin as she delivered a live update as to conditions on the west coast of the country.

Her reports sparked a number of hilarious memes, as well as a dance tune.

Tonight, Teresa was reporting live from Ballina, Co Mayo.

The waterproofs weren't required and conditions were calm - what a difference a day can make. And no fear of a dance tune this time round.
