She's still in primary school, but Ali Keating looks destined for acting stardom after it was revealed she's set to appear in a new Sky TV show.
The budding actress (9) is the youngest daughter of Boyzone star Ronan Keating and ex-wife Yvonne, and she appears to be following in her famous parents' footsteps already.
Ali will feature in a one-off short film on Sky Arts called King Of A Term, written by British actor Idris Elba. It is due to air on July 9. The drama is based on The Wire actor's childhood in Hackney, London, and tells the story of an asthmatic boy who is unexpectedly moved to a school for children with learning disabilities.
Ali's proud mum tweeted a picture of the up-and-coming TV star with Elba, who is also directed the show.
She isn't the first of the Keating clan to venture into acting. Dad Ronan recently played the lead role in the stage production of award-winning Irish film Once in London.
Ali's older sister Missy (14) is also a rising star in the business and has already cut her teeth in the movie world, landing roles in The Sea and Dark Touch.
Last December, the teenager was also hand-picked to play the lead role in short film The Library.
Former model Yvonne previously told the Herald she couldn't believe how talented Missy was when she first saw her act.
"I remember having one of those 'Oh my goodness' moments when I saw her at a showcase after two weeks at Lee Strasbourg, a summer camp kind of thing she did in LA," said Yvonne.
"Myself and Ronan, when she finished, we both went 'Oh my God' because we were so impressed.
"You could tell it was in her and she wanted to do it and we were worried."
However, Yvonne added that she believes Missy is well able to handle the cut-throat industry.
"She's really down-to-earth, and she's got her feet firmly on the ground, she's really conscientious," she said.
