Two siblings open up about the sudden death of their younger brother in an emotional episode of Missing You.

Romy (27) and Cole (26) Delaney come from a large family in Laois which was touched by tragedy in October 2015 when their younger brother Fionn died suddenly from a brain haemorrhage.

Fionn was just about to turn 19 when he died and Romy, who lives in London, was heavily pregnant with her first child and unable to make it home before her little brother passed away.

Missing You is a series based on the Skype calls shared between family members across the world and tonight's episode was filmed as Romy and Cole navigated their way through that first year of grief.

They discuss the night Fionn passed away and the call Romy received to tell her the awful news.  In this clip below they talk about how much faith they had that Fionn would pull through.

"I forget how much hope we had. Oh my God, I had so much hope. I was, like, Michael Schumacher was in a coma. That's what I thought," says Romy.

Talking about the plans the family were making for Fionn's recovery, Cole adds, "I remember Dad saying to me: 'sure what's a few years of physical therapy as long as we get him back?'  It was a horrible 61 hours".

Romy replies, "But we had almost 19 years of hilarious time and 61 hours just changes everything."

Tonight's episode also sees the Flood family reunited in Australia as Ann and John Joe Flood land in Sydney to see daughter Gemma and her new arrival.

However, they reveal they've been keeping a secret from Gemma - mum Ann had a heart attack half way through Gemma's pregnancy but kept hte news from her.

Also Joanna Golden, who is married to Fazel Patel since 2014 after they met online, is finding that a long distance relationship is not without its problems.

Elsewhere we see James Finlay, who lives in the Netherlands, still managing to watch sports with his dad Seamus who still lives in Laois.

And finally Colette Redmond (73), who left Howth in 1971 and hasn't been back for ten years, gets the local news from childhood friend Edgar McLoughlin (72).

Missing You on RTÉ One tonight at 8.30pm
