If you've already binge raced (consumed a series in less than 24 hours) your way through Mindhunter from last month, never fear, because Netflix has more treats in store for November.

There's Netflix Original series Alias Grace, a six part adaptation of Margaret Atwood's period drama which will, we hope, be just as good as Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.

Another Netflix Original worth getting excited about is Godless, a new series from Steven Soderbergh.  It's a western set in a town inhabited solely by women in New Mexico.  The hugely talented Jack O'Connell and Jeff Daniels star.

Film-wise, another Netflix Original sounds promising (it's generating quite a bit of Oscar buzz).  Mudbound is set in racially divided post WWII Mississippi and charts the friendship of two men - one black and one white.  Jason Clarke, Mary J Blige, and Carey Mulligan star.

Other films arriving on the streaming service include the beautiful La La Land, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, Matt Damon in The Martian, Girl With a Pearl Earring with Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth, and Hacksaw Ridge, directed by Mel Gibson and starring Andrew Garfield.  Keanu Reeves' John Wick and Men in Black II will also be available.

Documentary-wise Weiner follows former US congressman Anthony Weiner - husband of Hilary Cinton's advisor Huma Abedin - in the wake of a sex scandal which saw him forced out of office.

Don't forget also to check out Marvel's The Punisher and the second seasons of Lady Dynamite and Frontier.
