Shows to tune in for on new station

'OUT with the Old, In with the U'. Pat Kenny will make his first on screen appearence on New Year's Day in this once off documentary which sees him interview a selection of personalities including Hozier, Sean O'Sullivan and rugby star Tommy Bowe.

'UTV Ireland Live' and 'UTV Ireland Live at 10'

The station have placed a huge degree of importance on their news and current affairs department. Their evening programmes will be fronted by Alison Comyn and Newstalk's Chris O'Donoghue and will feature topical debate.

'Lesser Spotted Journeys' follows on from the success of long running regional show 'Lesser Spotted Ulster' hosted by Joe Mahon. The presenter will visit the area around Muckish Mountain in Co Donegal in the first episode which airs on January 2.

Rare Breed: A Farming Year. The 12-part series follows the lives of 21 Irish farmers over the course of a year.

The Graham Norton Show, Coronation Street and Emmerdale. UTV Ireland have obtained exclusive rights to these hugely popular entertainment shows.
