Sharon has lost the plot, say X Factor viewers after tense Six Chair Challenge
X Factor fans thought Sharon should have kept Shanaya Atkinson-Jones and Nicole Caldwell.
X Factor viewers suggested judge Sharon Osbourne had “lost the plot” as she eliminated some of the favourites from the competition.
Sunday night’s instalment of the ITV singing contest saw the start of the Six Chair Challenge, in which the judges whittle down their categories to the top six.
In decisions that shocked her fellow panellists, Osbourne, the mentor of the girls, showed Shanaya Atkinson-Jones and Nicole Caldwell the door.
Fans on Twitter could not believe Osbourne had got rid of Atkinson-Jones, who had blown everyone away with her strong vocals and emotional performances from her first audition.
“Sharron is off her head swapping Shanaya out for this girl whose name I can’t even remember,” said one disgruntled viewer.

“What did Sharon just do ?! Shanaya voice was amazing. She deserved to keep that chair,” said another.

“I think Sharon has lost the plot #XFactor Shanaya was my favourite …” grumbled one fan.
The exit of Caldwell also went down badly.
The singer from Scotland had been a huge favourite of judges Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell but had struggled to win over Osbourne.
One viewer suggested: “Think Sharon has lost the plot with her choices tonight @NicoleCaldwell_ needs to come back maybe the Wild card.”
Another fan called it Osbourne’s “worst decision”.
