Sarah Harding and Paul Danan have buried the hatchet over their vicious Celebrity Big Brother row, with the actor admitting he was worried about her behaviour.

The pair fell out over a nominations task where former Girls Aloud star Harding saw Danan and Brandi Glanville criticise her for a drunken night in the house as they nominated her for eviction.

But Harding, 35, who has spoken before about her past struggles with alcohol, ended up in a bitter argument with ex-Hollyoaks star Danan as she felt his comments about her single night of boozing would make viewers think she had not changed her ways.

As they cleared the air the next day, Danan said: “I was concerned for you. That was the reason. It wasn’t out of malice. It wasn’t out of me trying to f****** get you out of here. Believe me.”

Harding told him: “I felt it defeated the purpose of me being in here and you know what it will be like on the outside.”

The two housemates then hugged it out and agreed to put the bust-up behind them.

Before they sorted out their differences, Harding said in the diary room: “I don’t think I’m going to trust certain people, especially him. He’s playing a game. A very cunning one.

“I’m just going to be very wary from now on. I’ve got eyes in the back of my head, and one beady eye on him.”

Meanwhile, Danan, 39, had told some of the other housemates: “She was hitting me back, really where it f****** hurts. Am I going to talk to her? No. She f****** took it too far.”

Viewers of tonight’s episode will also see Harding reveal a little more about the rift between the Girls Aloud stars.

Talking about her former bandmates Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle, she said that they were not often in touch.

She said: “It’s so hard to catch up with any of them, really.

“Everyone has got their own thing going on.

“Three of them have got families now…(Cheryl, Walsh and Coyle).

“I haven’t seen or heard from one of them for forever. I don’t know where she’s gone.”

Although Harding did not reveal which one of her former co-stars had dropped off the radar, it was not Coyle as she added that they had recently FaceTimed each other.

:: The first live eviction of this series of Celebrity Big Brother takes place tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm.
